A complete brand refresh

The Australian National Maritime Museum needed a brand refresh, starting with the website and extending across all collateral material. The design needed to be both engaging to tourists and Aussie families, while also appealing to international museum curators and Australian Politicians.


More modern and flexible design.


Probably the most important element for the Museum, and the most complex. It is viewed by the Federal Government, it is viewed by curators around the world, it is viewed by tourists visiting Australia as well as by Australian families looking for a great day out.

It’s colour-coded modular design allowed their extensive collection be be displayed alongside the many permanent and temporary exhibitions.


A simple, bold grid system that allowed big impressive imagery to do the selling.
